In this course, you will learn about what community care is. This includes its history, how it has evolved over the years, and the importance of reimagining community care moving forward. As you move through this course, take an opportunity to think about what community care means to you and if there are examples of community care that you have witnessed your community participate in. Please note that there are sensitive topics within this module, such as the AIDS crisis, racism, and colonialism. Take your time navigating this course, and feel free to step away when necessary.
