Reflect & Understand
After going through the video and reading materials, take a moment to reflect on some of the following questions:
- Understanding Your Journey: How did your perception of the legal transition process align with the reality you experienced or are preparing for? What aspect of this process was or is most daunting to you?
- Navigating Challenges: Reflect on the hurdles you’ve faced or anticipate facing in changing your name and gender marker. How have these challenges affected your journey, and how have you managed or plan to manage them?
- Empowering Others: What advice or insights would you share with other trans individuals embarking on their legal transition journey? How can sharing your story foster a greater understanding and support within the trans community?
- X Gender Marker: If you are considering changing or have changed your gender marker to “X” consider what travel may look like for you. Some countries do not recognize “X” as a gender marker and some additional consideration may be needed before traveling.
